Carbon Project Directory

We are building a cross-registry Carbon Project Directory 3 Carbon Registries (Verra, Gold Standard and Cercarbono).

High level flow for building Carbon Project Directory:

  1. Get carbon project listing for a Carbon Registry
  2. Retrieve metadata and PDF for each carbon project
  3. Analyze PDF to enrich metadata
    Especially to extract geolocation (boundary of the carbon project) if not already available on the project webpage
  4. Store carbon project data in a structured format consistent across all Carbon Registries
